Jon Veel
General Manager

Jon joined CMD in 1992 after transferring from parent company Commtech in the UK. With 25 years industry experience and as a NEBB qualified professional for Air and Hydronics Balancing, Cleanroom Performance Testing, Building Systems Commissioning and Fume Hood Performance Testing he has overall responsibility for all technical and commercial aspects of the business.

When he’s not working he is regularly seen running at Bedok reservoir and East Coast Park and his hobbies include travel and sailing

Martin Knellar
Contracts Manager

From the UK, Martin arrived in Singapore in 2000 as a project manager for a wafer fab project and has stayed ever since. As a NEBB qualified professional for Air and Hydronics Systems he enjoys his current role as the contracts manager with the responsibility to liase with clients and support our Project Supervisors in the day to day smooth running of the company projects.

As the father of two young boys his weekends are spent playing soccer and cycling.

Andy Choo
Project Supervisor

After his National Service was completed, Andy joined CMD in 1993 with a temporary position as a plantwatch attendant and he has stayed ever since. He has risen through the ranks as a technician and has attended training and work experience course in the UK and USA in order to further his knowledge and has also worked regionally in Indonesia, Vietnam and China. He is now closely involved in pharmaceutical validation projects.

Jimmy Phang
Project Supervisor

Jimmy was recruited as a trainee balancing technician in 1996 and with more than 15 years experience is now a project supervisor with a particularly strong background in Wafer Fab’s and electronics projects. He has attended training seminars in Australia and the USA and has worked on a variety of projects both regionally in Asia and also Australia.

Lim Chee Wee
Project Supervisor

Wee first joined CMD in 1994 whilst waiting to enrol in National Service and became famous for the thoroughness of his pre-commissioning checklists. After completing his National Service he returned to work at CMD and has worked on a wide variety of projects during the ensuing 15 years.

Married with two children his weekends are spent with his family and watching soccer.
